Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Olive Garden must open a location in Coquitlam its crazy only one in Langley

I just came back from the Olive Garden and was exceptionally happy with the food and the service. We were greeted within seconds of seating. First we were offered complimentry wine and then our salads came within a minute or two..no kidding... and fresh cheese was grated on them as we watched. Piping hot bread sticks were set down and our soup was so hot we had to blow it! All very tasty. And our server checked back every so often to see if she could help us in any way at just the most discreet times.
I have never ever been in a dining room where the service was this quick. It is usually a few minutes once seated before a server comes then anywhere from 15 to 25 minutes before food comes.
At the Olive Gardens it is like Welcome, come on in, sit down and we will serve you right now AND THEY DO!
I definately will go back and I will also bring more guests with me. You more than deserve the big tip I gave you!!!

A couple of weeks ago, my friends and I had dinner at the restaurant. We did not have to wait because we got there at 5pm. Our waiter (Georgie) was good and served us very well, refiling out salad and bread sticks. Our food came on time and was good too.
The only thing that I did not like about the restaurant was the uncomfortable chairs. C'mon...for the amount of money we pay for the food, can we atleast have cushioned seats? The booths do not have enough space for a big group of people.
Other than, that it was all good.

The food is nowhere near as good as when it first opened. The food & service has been doing downhill since then. The last few visit was so incredibly disappointing due to poor service & food quality that it is highly doubtful we will ever bother going again.

Aug 9 2007, I'm soo done with the Olive Garden, My family and I have enjoyed
this restraunt for the past few years with the exception of aug. 9th. our meal
was delivered before our salads and appetizers were done the table was small and this made it very uncomfortable the food was cold and looked as though it came from a plastic bag not made in house, one of the servers was actually having a conversation in the ladies restroom on her cell phone!!! YUK!!!! in her apron and all. Our server was having a conversation with another
server on the floor using profanities.

They really know how to cook fish. The parmesan encrusted tilapia is my
usual favourite, but they have the best crab in Alfredo Sauce (in season, that is).

I used to work there and I was very proud of the management and the staff that I worked with. Great food, great service, and good times.

If you plan on eating between 5 and 7, the wait time can be quite long (I've often experienced waits of 40-45 minutes) Having said that, there's a good reason for this... people love this restaurant! The food is great, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I've always had excellent service here as well. The only problem I've ever experienced with this restaurant is with making reservations... I once made one for 10 people 2 days in advance but when I called to confirm it the day of, I was told they didn't take reservations... this resulted in my party having to wait for an hour... but that was probably just one person's mistake, and we got to wait at the bar so at least we could sit down. All in all though, I really do love this place!

Our first experience with the Olive Garden was in Blasdell New York, found it to be so good that we wanted to have that experience once we got home to B.C.
We were fortunate enough to find you out there in Langley. Our dinner was very good with a very short wait time to get into the dining area. Our server was very helpful and friendly. We will come again in the future and recommed this restaurant to others. We would love to see you on the north side of the Fraser River as that is where we are located. Keep up the good work.
